November to March is the main tourist season in Goa
If you want total peace and quiet and don't mind high humidity, sudden drenchings and occasional down pours visit during the June-October monsoon months to experience the lush greenness of Goa.

Relaxed and peaceful

We stayed at the Villa Venus in Aashyana Lakhanpal for four nights. We were three couples who were visiting Goa to unwind and have good food. Villa Venus was perfect for doing just that. Set in the winding lanes of Candolim, walking distance from its market is Villa Venus. It has three bedrooms and has a lot of tropical plants and greenery. ...The interiors are comfortable and attractive with large rooms and high ceilings made of wood. Its the ideal place to just relax and rewind.They have even thoughtfully provided books and magazines to read. The staff of Aashyana Lakhanpal are all extremely courteous, friendly and cooperative. I would like to specially mention Matilda, Sunil and Vineet who took care of our needs. The chef Rajesh is superb and asks for your preferences so that he can make the dishes accordingly. I would rate the meals we had at the Villa among the best we had in Goa. Utkarsh also was very helpful. The staff arrange for the pick up and drop to the airport and also cars for local use. The beach is a five minute walk away and is clean and lovely. All in all we had a wonderful stay and I would strongly recommend it. The only thing that was disappointing was the wifi connection. This was a holiday which will linger long in our memory
